Startup Weekend Oulu Spring 2025 took place at Business Corner from March 21st to 23rd. A big congratulations to our top 3 teams, and a huge thank you to all 37 participants who made this event a success!
1st place - FavourSwap. Platform for students to exchange services.
2nd place - BarberMatch. Platform that connects barbers and consumers based on their preferences and hair type.
3rd place - MyWalden. App that helps you relax in nature through guided exercises and activities.

Acouspin pitched its way to the 10 000€ prize in Polar Bear Pitching
On Feruary 28th, 10 brave startups took the plunge into an ice hole to pitch their ideas in the annual Polar Bear Pitching event. After a challenging round of deliberations, the judges crowned Acouspin, a Helsinki-based startup, as the winner.
Acouspin stood out with its innovative approach to producing high-quality nanofibers, powered by an AI-driven ultrasonic solution. Congratulations to Acouspin for their impressive pitch and groundbreaking technology!
